Identify the provider
Name the business and give an appropriate contact route. Explain the area served or how online delivery works. Keep relevant service, About and contact pages consistent. Do not publish a private home address just to fill a checklist.
Name the person behind advice
For an article or course, identify the author or teacher and link to a useful biography. State relevant experience, real qualifications and who reviewed specialised claims. Do not invent credentials, reviews or results. An author label gives context; it is not proof of expertise.
Keep dates honest
Use a publication date for when an article first appeared and a review date for a real review. Correct outdated details in the visible content and any structured data. Changing a date without checking the article does not make its advice current.
Made-up example / Online fitness teacher
A useful teacher introduction
A fictional teacher’s page states the instructor’s name, a genuine qualification, how the recorded course works and what support is included. It does not promise medical outcomes or imply that every student gets personal coaching.
One thing to try
Try it on one public page
- Check one sales page and its linked About or teacher page.
- Correct inconsistent provider, contact or delivery details.
- Add an honest author or teacher introduction if the page needs one.
- Check the evidence for every credential or outcome you mention.
How to check the result
- Ask someone unfamiliar with the business to identify who provides the service and how to contact them.
- Compare the visible facts with linked profiles and any structured data you maintain.
Keep the page address, date and evidence. A page improvement is not a promise of rankings or AI citations.
